Written Reflection:
Describe what SPECIFIC photographic techniques you used to take photos for your Happy Place, if any.
What I did the most was experiment with points of view. I found that my happy place had some constraints when it came to variety, as the only three aspects are me, my mandolin, and the scenery, so I had to try plenty of different angles. Other than that, for the last photo shown in the gallery I experimented with panning, which I think turned out really cool, especially in black and white.
Describe what additional steps you took to make your Happy Place more successful. Why do you like it? What did you do to make it great? (editing, staging shots, reworking Picassa grid, etc...)
Other than the actual taking of the shots, I put a lot more time into editing than I normally do, taking the overall combined image of all of the photos into account. Working with the Picassa grid, I also decided to have the brightest and my favourite photo be the large centrepiece, and have the other small ones revolve around it.
Reflect and rate your project. As the last shooting assignment of the trimester, how strong was your project? How do you feel you did? What, if anything, could you/should you have done to improve it? What score do you give yourself?
I think this is one of my better assignments and included some of my best photos. My only problem with is is that there isn't enough variety between the photos. For that reason, I would give myself an A-.

Improvement!
What I did
The most specific thing that I received feedback on was that I needed a closer and more detailed self portrait. All I did was take one, edit it to be similar to the others, and replace the close up finger photo with the portrait.
